Qualitative estimation of stage engineering education within a framework of the sustainable development concept.

ABSTRACT- The concept, of development accepted by the world community, became general strategy on realization of internal and international policy in each country for the 21 century. In this connection teaching corpse all over the world is compelled to reconsider the methodological approaches concerning to preparation of future experts and it makes the content of education to be regarded in framework of the concept of sustainability. A key basis of such approach in technical high school becomes the formation of basic qualities of an environmentally educated personality of a future engineer. The ecological outlook, thus, acts as the rod factor and means of spiritual formation of the person of the 21 century. Therefore, it is very important to determine the main qualities of the generated steady outlook of the students. The criteria and estimations of qualities of an environmentally educated personality of the student will be, from our point of view, the main questions, which decisions will move to definition of the estimated characteristics for modern engineering education. That is why; the members of faculties of the Cherkasy Technological University are involved in a process of improvement of the contents of engineering education within the framework of the concept of sustainable development of a society, which has economic, ecological and social aspects. Substantially it is - realization in this or that territory or on the Earth in the whole system rational use of nature, called to ensure sustainable development. The urgency of the sustainable development concept requires application of new standards by teachers and tutors on a global scale. They are obliged to reconsider the standard economical, social and political criteria and slogans. Thus, it is very important to determine the basic, key factors, which influence on the formation of steady outlook of the students of technical high school. The criteria and estimation of qualities of the ecologically brought up person, in our opinion, are the main components for definition of the contents of modern engineering education within the framework of sustainability.
