ABSTRACT-
There has been much recent interest in the biologic effects of low doses of low LET radiation. This symposium is organized in an attempt to cover effects of low doses of radiation in vitro and in vivo from the initiation of gene expression to the biologic function of the induced genes to various biologic sequelae including apoptosis, reproductive cell death, and neoplastic transformation.

KEYWORDS: low dose
