(P443) Evaluation of Cholinergic Effects and Cummulative Toxic Endpoints.

Jones, Frank*,1, 1 Exponent, Albany, NY, USA

ABSTRACT- Chemicals can affect the cholinergic nervous system by various mechanisms. The potential for pesticides that affect the cholinergic system to exhibit cumulative effects associated with multiple pesticide exposures is dependent on the interplay of the complementing, competing, and independent mechanisms of action. An evaluation of the mechanisms of action and the potential for cumulative toxic effects for various multiple groupings of cholinergic pesticides was conducted to illustrate differing potential outcomes.

Key words: cumulative, pesticides, cholinergic
