(M/MC259) Process model to predict the cost and environmental and product performance in a life-cycle perspective. Gabel, Karin1, Tillman, Anne-Marie1, 1 ABSTRACT- To support decisions on product and process development options and strategic planning, information on consequences of planned changes are needed. A flexible and general-purpose model over the cement manufacturing has been developed. The model predicts the economic cost and the environmental and product performance in a life-cycle perspective, simulating any operational alternative. Interesting future operational alternatives such as increased use of industrial by products and wastes as raw materials and fuels have been simulated.
