(0077) LCA in Building and Construction - results of Working Group.

ABSTRACT- The SETAC Working Group LCA in Building and Construction inventoried the way LCAs in Building and Construction are carried out in Europe. They focused on building-specific issues in LCA. The end results are presented, a.o. an overview of the way the functional unit is dealt with, which system boundaries are applied in different countries and which LCA systems and declaration schemes are known in the building and construction sector. Also relevant issues that need further research, are pointed out.
