(T/MF135) The Simulation of Phenol transporting in soil.
Zhisheng, Yang1,2, 1 2
ABSTRACT- The sorption and transportation of phenol in soil has its special regulation. As the phenol bearing waste water immigrites in the soil the soil particales will adsorp the phenol and gradually lost its capability of adsorption. The penatrating curve will move to the deep layer of soil and cause the groundwater contamination as soon as the adsorption equilibrium reached. Take the concept of chemical engineering, the soil is taken as fixed bed while the phenol solute as mobile phase, the dynamic equilibrium between the fixing-bed and the mobile phase was set up by experiment. A mathematics model is obtained utilizing linear isotherm adsorption equition and mass transport rate equition with suitable boundary condition and initial condition. By deriving the above partial difference equition to be first type zero order Bassel function, the model can be solved as a anlysised solution. The solution was calibrited by dynamic sorption experiment and proved correct. So it can be used to predict the concentration of phenol in the soil profile.
