ABSTRACT- Henry's law constant, partition coeffient octanol/air, partition coeffient octanol/water, vapour pressure and water solubility are key properties in environmental fate modelling. These properties are not independent from each other, indeed there are strong approximated correlations or even exact relations between them. Similar consideration holds true for the temperature dependencies of these properties. This study accentuates the importance of consistent input data in environmental fate models, and derives a rule set for the application of suitable values.

Key words: physico-chemical property, environmental fate
