Sexuality Education Intervention Effects of Teacher.

ABSTRACT- The main purpose of this research is to train teachers to be sex educators . It is assumed each teacher could train parents to be sex peer educators and further to influence their children. This is to understand the influence on teachers′sexual knowledge, their attitude towards sex education, and sex education self–efficacy. An effective sex education program contains (1) the content that trainees should study; (2) sufficient time to operate; (3) practical promotion in education and communication. This research was designed as 40–hour training program for five days, including sexual attitude restructuring, clarification and reorganization of group motivation, sex development, sex and health, sex education teaching materials and teaching principles, demonstration and feedback of sex education, adolescent counseling, case discussion and experience sharing. This research found that the total score of sexual knowledge, total score of sex education self efficacy, attitudes towards masturbation, bisexual and homosexual, multiple sex behaviors and sex and love among teachers peer educators were improved after receiving this sexual education intervention. The results indicated the extension of promoting peer′s sex education. Peers educators could apply knowledge and ability that obtained from this sex education intervention to introduce, guide, and communicate issues related to ′′sex′′ with their peers.
