Sexual Risks and Death Anxiety. Lopez-Garcia, MĒ Cruz*,1, Lopez-Castedo, Antonio1, Sueiro-Dominguez, Encarnacion1, 1 Universidad de Vigo, OURENSE, ESPAŅA, Spain ABSTRACT- OBJETIVES: To know the relation between the death anxiety and practical sexual of risk. MATERIAL AND METHODS:Descriptive, traverse study with a population reveille of 1128 students (until 19 years od) of Galician (Spain). They made a structured, voluntary, anonymous and autoadministred questionnaire about sexual risks and the Death Anxiety Scale (DAS). We made the analysis of data with SPSS 11.1/Windows. RESULTS:Half age is 17.16 years old (SD=1.047). 52.7% is women and 96.5% is single. 46.2% began the coitus. 30.6% has started the coitus among 13-15 years old. In the last year, 20.03% had coitus 1-2times/a week and 20.9% had three or more couples. 3.96% did not use protection methods. We investigated the significant differences between sexual practices (age of the first coitus, coitus frequency, number of couples in the last year, anticonceptive methods and frequency method use) and death anxiety. There is significant difference in the variable age of first coitus (p<0.01). CONCLUSION: These results should be considered in any program about Sexual risk and Death Attitudes with adolescents.
