Sexual Behaviours in The Adolescence.

ABSTRACT- OBJETIVES:To describe sexual behaviours and to identify sexual risk in the youths. MATERIAL AND METHODS:Descriptive, traverse study with a population reveille of 1128 students (until 19 years old) of public and private schools of Galiciam (Spain). They made a structures, voluntary, autoadministred and anonymous questionnaire with social and sexual behaviours variables. We use SPSS 11.1/Windows for analysis of data. RESULTS:The half age is 17.16 years old (SD=1.047).595 is girls, 533 boys.96.5% is single. 60.3% studies in public schools, 39.7% in private schools. 29% lives in the rural means. 529 has started the coitus. Firs coitus happened when they are among 13-15 years old (30.6%), among 16-18 years (62%) and after 18 years (7.4%).In the last year, 50.1% had coitus 1-3 times/month, 20.3% had coitus 1-2 times/a week. 59.7% had one couple, 14.9% had two couples and 20.9% had three or more couples. 83.4 % used the condom, 8.9% used the pill/IUD. 72.2% always use protection methods. CONCLUSIONS:The sexual risk can to increase it and/or reduce it with the pass of the years. We can reduce to sexual risks with Prevention Programes.
