Specifically, the purpose of the study was described the changes in sexual behavior, sexual attitudes and AIDS in Antofagasta. This study is a major milestone in the study of sexuality in the North of Chile. Here, we show the most important finding from the discursive analysis of our interviews. Methodology: A discursive analysis were done in 52 interviews about sexuality under transversal eje on sex/gender relation using a life-course perspective. We used 4 sexual generation: sexual restraint, sexual revolution, dictatorships and gender equalisation. The discurses were organized around intrapsyque, sociocultural and interpersonal experiencies, all of them linked to sexuality, categories that are part of theoretical proposes about constructing sexual scripts using Sexual Scripts Theory from Gagnon and Simon. Results and conclusions:The discursive analysis show deep forms of symbolic violence in their erotic lives, specially in the age group that belonged to the dictature period (sexual generation who were young between 1973 and 1990) and those who belonged to the restrictive generation (sexual generation who were young between 1950 and 1970),even the information collected through sex survey show an important cultural change in gender relations in Antofagasta city, in intimate life, mostly in women. Finally, the most outstanding findings show the missvalue of quality of their sexual life, so they could keep their couples, justifying male infidelity and overloading their daily life due to gender differencies in women socialization and education.
