Use of Paroxetine for treatment of premature ejaculation.

ABSTRACT- OBJETIVES: Pharmacotherapy using SSRI (PAROXETINE) to fixes doses for men with primary and secondary premature ejaculation. MATERIALS AND METHO: Forty male outpatients . All men where either married or in stable relationship, had no other sexual disorders and ejaculatory interval time < 3 minutes. Each patient was treatment with fixes doses of paroxetine 20mg daily for 4 weeks. None of the men received any formal psychosexual therapy. RESULTS: All take medication for 4 weeks, neither had dropped. The mean ejaculatory interval increased to 7 minutes in 34 patients.
