WAS : From 1974 to 2034. A Look into the Past. A Perspective - Invited Paper.

ABSTRACT- Medical Sexology started scientifically in early 20th century (Heaberle).The Birth of Sexology has been explicit about its achievements (VI WAS WCS Washington l983). From 1974 ( Paris Congress of Medical Sexology ) to 2004 ( WAS XVI World Congress of Sexology La Habana) a look into the past may be summarized: 12 main events are described during these 30 years.Difficult to make a synthesis. But we must move forward,so let's do an exercise of imagination : 12 future pathways are described as roads for the development of Medical Sexology. Now is very easy to work in the field.The Academy and Sciences recognizes the importance of Human Sexuality in Education ,Productivity and Quality of Life .The future is ours.SEXUAL HEALTH FOR ALL.
