Emotional strengthening for the prevention and care-taking of VIH/Aids by means of a workshop scheme.

ABSTRACT- Presentation of the preliminary results of the joint project that has been introduced in Nuevo Leon, Mexico with the support of the state Health Ministry since January of 2002. The outcome of this project is a workshop scheme that benefits the intervention and aid for a greater number of people of families of all sexual orientations. The objective of the workshop scheme is to improve the quality of life of the family members of all sexual orientations and some of these members live with HIV/Aids or have died because of AIDS. A further objective is to support the prevention of HIV/Aids in particular among young people. With the help of this workshop scheme that is based on the basics of Family Constellations by Bert Hellinger, the aim is to strengthen people emotionally so that they can find their own peace and reconcile with their families. This innovating workshop looks for the solution of several problematic issues by means of the acknowledgement of the reality and agreeing to it. We are talking about a proximate situation without any moral judgements. Respecting and acknowledging the place of all the members of the families, encouraging also each member to take his or her own responsibility.
