Sexual Educational Games in the Science Museum.

ABSTRACT- Universum, Science Museum of The National University of Mexico has twelve rooms of different disciplines of the science. In particular, the room of Health and Human Biology has shown a great interest and participation since its opening. It has promoted warnings and educational measures to have a complete integral health. The room supports its self of written information, electronics equipment, multimedia, speeches, workshop and conferences. The exhibition talks about AIDS, Human Body Health and Human Reproduction. The room has an average of three hundred visitors a day. The teenagers demanded more attention. Thanks to the acceptance of the visitors we have proposed ourselves to keep on with new activities to maintain best results. The objective of this work is to promote Sexual Health, giving Integral Sexual Education. We have worked with different activities to provide basic information that guide to healthy sexuality. The activities we have selected are: Rolando tareas, to boys and girls from 4 to 7 years of age. This is a game where the players recognize and share the homework of the home and the genre rolls. El gato fecundo, for boys and girls from 8 to 15 years of age. This is a game where the players have to learn by competing in teams. Each teem answer a list of questions about Human Reproductions, question for advance and beginner players. The Rally de la sexualidad, for adolescents from 10 to 18 years of age. In this game there is an interchange of knowledge about Sexuality and Reproduction. Prevencion en pareja and Charla interactive are two activities for adolescents and adults. The visitors learn about contraceptive methods. To evaluate the information about sexuality, a survey was made to 200 people between the ages of 12 to 25 years. Some question were: Age, sex, Who do you live with, How many brother do you have, Ages of your brothers, Do you have boyfriend or girlfriend, Have you had sexual relations, Have you seen a condom, Have you use one condom, Do you have information about sexual transmissions disease, Have you had any speech about sexual education, Do you think that the school gives enough information about sexuality. At the same time we have worked and completed the activities, they use to apply inside or outside the Museum. Like complement to all this activities we are working in a game of lottery about sexual transmissions disease to give complete information about Warning of Sexual Education.
