The Debate on Sexual Education: the case of Costa Rica.

ABSTRACT- This paper deals with the ongoing debate in Costa Rica about sexual education carried on between adults of different institutions which leaves young people in the penumbra of ignorance and danger. In different studies young people acknowledge their level of ignorance, and clearly indicate what they want. Is it not time to take them into account and to create a new paradigm of sexual education where the body, responsibility and pleasure are central.
