In the second trial 50 out of 78 ewes were diagnosed pregnant and subjected to twin pregnancy testing the same as trial 1. In this group out of 239 times of pregnancy diagnosis, they were diagnosed twins in 17 times and single in 222 times. Data were recorded weekly and compared with the birth records.. The overall accuracy distinguishing singles from twins were 100% between days 21-90 and 90.3% for days 91-100 and 75% for days 101-110 in trial 1. These values were 66.67% for days 21-30, 81.25% for days 41-40 and 100% for days 41-110. The prediction values for twin pregnancy diagnosis were 100% for days 41-100 in trial 1. These values were 50% for days 21-30, 33.3% for days 31-40 and 100% for days 41-90 in trial 2.
