Five healthy Caspian mares, age 5-10 years, received 2 injections of PGF2 and were mated naturally; after 7 days, the embryos were collected by flushing. Finally, with 10 flushings, 7 embryos were collected from 5 mares. The results showed the ovulation in left ovary was more than right(80%). Capacity of normal uterus was 500-800ml and the tonisity of cervix in most of these mares was rigid which this characteristic is a useful factor in this breed.
